Natalie started her career in public relations as a media specialist at one of the nation's top PR firms, Rubenstein Associates. There, she developed a "nose for news" by tracking breaking news and providing reporters and producers at major national and local news outlets with expert clients and resources.
She also supported a variety of public relations campaigns for a wide range of clients, projects and special events, including the Tribeca Film Festival, TIME 100' Most Influential People in NYC, and Broadway Under the Stars in Bryant Park. She has also executed PR campaigns for a variety of magazines including Blender, Maxim, Radar, Ocean Drive and Future U.S. lifestyle magazines and events including the Sundance Film Festival in Salt Lake City, the Winter Olympics in Torino, Puma's NBA All Star Games Party in Houston, as well as celebrity and charity events in LA, NYC and the Hamptons.
Her scope of work covers the fields of food, sports, dance, music, health, fitness, charity and fashion with media placements on The Today Show, The Early Show, Fox News' Fox & Friends, CBS Sunday Morning, Access Hollywood, Extra, The New York Times, Associated Press, The New York Daily News, The New York Post and Latina Magazine to name a few. Prior to starting RETRO Media NYC, a multifaceted public relations and design agency, Natalie free-lanced as a project manager for Oprah's celebrity event planner Collin Cowie, a high-end advertising and marketing firm, and worked for WOR 710 radio station and The Joan Hamburg Show.
Having lived in some of the world's most extraordinary cities, including Barcelona, Rome and New York, where she currently resides, Natalie is an avid traveler with a passion for people, culture, languages, and writing. She holds a degree in Mass Communications/Media Studies and Business Administration from Fordham University.
Creative & Graphic Design
Born and raised in Costa Rica, Alex worked at Laureate International Universities, one of Costa Rica's top universities and known as an astounding educational and business entity. There, he accumulated experience in public relations, mass communications, event production, ATL & BTL marketing, crisis management, promotion, branding and audiovisual production.
In 2010, he followed his to dream to live in New York City in order to cultivate his passion and creativity for design and photography. Alex works on creative and graphic projects from developing client websites, logos, graphics, invitations, promotional and marketing collateral as well as photography. One of his largest projects is with Samsung.
He holds a degree in Public Relations & Marketing Communications from Ulatina, Laureate International Universities in Costa Rica.
Graphic Design & Event Production
Dedicated to making a meaningful impact supporting and promoting the business development of local, minority owned small businesses generally, KARINA GARDEN JIMENEZ is on a mission to empower women entrepreneurs – specifically women of color, by supporting their entrepreneurial spirits as they seek to make their mark in the business world.
Passionate about entrepreneurship, she is especially adept at providing advice on the business formation process, drafting governing documents for startups and management of business contracts. Often serving as a “department of one”, she is there when the business is just standing up, as well as when it’s off to a run and looking steady. She enjoys all things creative, including visual branding, website design and graphic work; as well as event planning, content creation and blogging.
Currently, Karina is involved in a number of passion-fueled projects including being a founding partner of The Business of WE (Women Entrepreneurs), an invaluable resource for mission-centered and success-focused women entrepreneurs emphasizing collaborative connections and partnerships; executive director of bluGarden Events, a full-service event production company providing concept design, planning and production services; and creator of the NY Bridal & Quince Expo (NYBQE), the tristate area’s first Latino bridal and quinceañera trade show, open to all, but with a particular focus on the Latino community.
She’s been featured on NBC Visiones, Univision, Telemundo, NY 1 Noticias, NPR Latino, 1010 Wins, Be Moxie and The Innertia Project, among other media outlets across the United States for her efforts.
An avid music lover, self-proclaimed cupcake aficionado and beagle enthusiast, Karina holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Boston University, along with a Juris Doctorate degree from Brooklyn Law School.
Franklin Liranzo is a professional photographer based in New York City. He specializes in head shots, dance, fashion, travel and editorial photography. As a world traveler, Franklin has a competitive edge in multiple arenas, as he fully understands how diverse and dynamic photographic needs can be.

Rafael Bello is a two-time Emmy award winning television and radio host/personality in New York City. Rafael currently serves as the Weather and Entertainment Anchor on Univision 41 Nueva York's early morning segment "Al Despertar." Bello formerly served as the Traffic and Entertainment Anchor on WNJU Telemundo 47's "Noticiero 47 Primera Edicion" and also hosted feature and entertainment segments including his Emmy Award winning entertainment segment "Pa la Calle con Rafa". For almost three years, Bello was Weekend Sports Anchor for "Noticiero 47 Fin de Semana", for which he was nominated as Best Sports Anchor in the 57th edition of the New York Emmy Awards. In addition, Rafael conducts media training workshops in Spanish and English.
